Don't
Don’t just come to pitch. We’re all about helping you to build your network and that starts by getting to know the other people that you meet.
Don’t come if you won’t have your camera on. You wouldn’t go to an in person event and sit with your back to the room.
Don’t arrive after the start time, If you miss the start how can you know how the event runs and what you’ve missed.
Prior to the event
Think about why you’re attending. How could the other members help you? Specific business introductions, share your ideal client persona, do you need advice, or maybe you need to be around like minded people for inspiration.
During the event
Stay engaged, take notes when you’re in the breakout rooms. Ask good questions from other peoples spotlights, let people know how you can help them with their business and introductions. Have fun.
After the event
Firstly connect with the people you’ve met, for most people this will be on LinkedIn. Then invite the people you felt you connected with to arrange a 121 to get to know each other and find out how you could help with introductions.
